CPD should give you something useful to take back into the room, not just another certificate. My sessions focus on situations practitioners recognise: supporting a parent who is struggling to stay patient, understanding how trauma can appear in unexpected ways, or finding your footing when a session takes an unexpected turn.
Drawing on my experience in teaching and clinical practice, I offer training on therapeutic parenting, attachment and trauma, with theory connected to real practice. Sessions can be arranged for individuals or teams, with time to bring questions, discuss your work and think through anonymised cases together.
If you are looking for CPD that feels relevant and practical, please get in touch or book one of the sessions listed below.
Upcoming Workshop
A 5-hour immersive therapeutic workshop using attachment theory, object relations, art, sand tray and clay work.
Some parts of us grow up with the body, while other parts still carry the tenderness, fear, longing or hurt of earlier experiences. You may notice this through people-pleasing, fear of rejection, emotional overwhelm, self-criticism, difficulty trusting others, or a quiet feeling of “not being good enough”, even when your adult self knows you are capable, strong and worthy.
This immersive workshop offers a gentle, creative and reflective space to meet those younger parts of yourself with compassion. Together, we’ll explore how early relationships shape the way we see ourselves, relate to others and move through the world.
Grounded in attachment theory and object relations, the workshop weaves together expressive tools, art-making, sand tray and clay, to access feelings that often sit beneath words. No creative experience is needed; this is about exploration, not artistic skill. Through guided reflection and gentle group process, you’ll begin reconnecting with the parts of you still seeking safety, validation and care, cultivating greater self-compassion, resilience and wholeness.
This creative, LGBTQIA+ affirmative workshop offers a gentle space to explore younger parts of yourself, belonging, self-compassion and adult empowerment through art, reflection and relational process.
Created exclusively for LGBTQIA+ adults aged 18 and over, the workshop warmly welcomes people who are questioning, exploring or choosing not to use a fixed label. You do not need to provide identity proof, share a coming-out story, take part in a public pronoun round or have any artistic experience. This is not ally training.
Younger parts may carry tenderness, fear, secrecy, grief or memories of having to hide, adapt or perform in order to belong. They may also hold curiosity, imagination, humour, resistance, pride and an early sense of who you were becoming. LGBTQIA+ identity is not the wound. Where pain exists, it may be connected to rejection, bullying, discrimination, racism, ableism, body-related distress, family or faith messages, or pressure to explain or conceal yourself. These responses can be approached with context and compassion, rather than correction.
Through guided reflection, private writing, art-making, sand, clay and compassionate group process, you will be invited to explore identity, protection, connection, boundaries, body autonomy, privacy and joy. You can choose how much, or how little, you participate, and no one will be asked to force memories, disclose personal experiences or reach a particular emotional outcome.
Together, we will notice what helped you survive, what supported belonging, and what your present-day adult self may now be ready to offer. There will be space for grief, play, tenderness, resistance and LGBTQIA+ joy, alongside a realistic integration and aftercare plan for the hours and days afterwards.
The day is held with care, respect and flexibility, making room for difference, uncertainty and a pace that feels right.
Come as you are. Leave with greater self-understanding, compassion and permission to belong to yourself.
